The Mourning Dolls slipped into Anna’s Place draped in lace, velvet, and shadows. It was photo shoot that felt more like a séance than a session. Every glance, every curve of fabric echoed the spirit of Madam Anna Wilson, Omaha, Nebraska's notorious Queen of the Underworld.
Anna built her empire in the city’s margins, but she did it with diamonds, daring, and a generosity that outlived her scandal. She was bold, sharp, and unapologetically herself. The very energy The Mourning Dolls conjured in every frame.
This was no simple shoot. It was a resurrection of history dressed in dark glamour, art laced with rebellion, and Madam Anna’s ghost smiling somewhere in the velvet shadows.
